MADURAI, TN – The Sourashtra Nextgen Entrepreneurs Association (SNEA) marked a significant milestone on April 26, 2023, with a grand celebration for its 3rd Anniversary and the 2nd Installation of its Executive Team for the 2023-2025 term. The event, held at the elegant Amika Hotel in Madurai, brought together a distinguished gathering of business leaders and community members to celebrate achievements and usher in a new era of leadership.

A central highlight of the celebration was the presentation of the NextGen Business Excellence Awards 2023, recognizing outstanding contributions to the business world.

• The coveted Business Excellence Award was conferred upon Dr. T. M. Prasanna Kumar of the Prathana Ayurvedic Health Centere, Madurai, for his dedication and excellence in the field of traditional wellness and healthcare. Mr. T. M. Rubesh Babu received the award on behalf of Dr. T. M. Prasanna Kumar.

• The NextGen Entrepreneur Award was presented to Mr. S. K. Ajay Kumar of Thirumalai Traders, Madurai, celebrating his dynamic entrepreneurial spirit and success.

In addition to celebrating external success, the association honored the commitment of its internal members through the NextGen Team Awards 2023.

• The Best Team Player Award (2022-2023) was awarded to Mr. A. D. Lakshmanan, owner of the popular Awestrucks multicuisine Restaurant in Madurai.

• The Best All Rounder Award (2022-2023) was presented to Mr. K. B. Sabari of Sabari Textile Mills, Madurai.

The formal installation of the new NextGen Executive Team for 2023-2025 was a pivotal moment of the evening, marking a seamless leadership transition and setting a forward-looking tone for the association’s future endeavors. The event successfully combined celebration with a clear vision for the path ahead, reinforcing SNEA’s role as a vital platform for entrepreneurial growth and collaboration in the region.

The evening was made memorable by the presence of esteemed guests. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. R. Gopinath, Executive Director of the BNI Salem Region, who shared valuable insights on networking and business growth. He was joined by the Guest of Honour, Mr. T. R. Mohanram, President of the Sourashtra Chamber of Commerce, Madurai, whose attendance underscored the strong collaborative ties within the local business community.

The event also saw the participation of several key business personalities, including stalwarts from the textile and apparel industry such as Mr. Jaghuva Kumaran, Managing Director of the leading kids’ apparel exporter Quality Knit Wears Pvt Ltd, and Mr. T. K. D. Mohan of Sarathi Textiles, a renowned manufacturer of premium linen shirts and dhoties. Mr. Ramlakshman, Joint Secretary of the Sourashtra Chamber of Commerce, was also among the prominent attendees.
